SMS / Text Messaging Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the text messaging program operated by Costa Chica Bar & Grill (“we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 810 Park Ave, Suite 13, Muscatine, IA 52761. By providing your mobile phone number and agreeing to receive text messages from Costa Chica Bar & Grill, you consent to the practices described here. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not opt in to our messaging program.
Costa Chica Bar & Grill uses text messaging to communicate directly with guests who have opted in. Messaging is primarily conversational and service-oriented: you can text us with questions and requests, and we respond directly. We may also send service-related messages you can reply to. Every message relates to an existing customer relationship or an action you have taken.
Depending on how you interact with us, messages may include: reservation confirmations and reminders; responses to your questions about hours, menu, location, availability, or events; large-party, catering, and private-event coordination; and, if you have opted in to promotional messages, information about specials, and events.
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. For conversational and service messages, you will generally receive messages only in response to your requests. If you opt in to promotional messages, you can expect up to approximately 4 messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Costa Chica Bar & Grill does not charge for the messages themselves, but your carrier’s standard rates will apply. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
You can cancel the text messaging program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you one confirmation message and then stop sending text messages. You will no longer receive texts from Costa Chica Bar & Grill unless you opt back in by replying START.

Our messaging program is compatible with major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.
We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or text messaging opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information collected through the messaging program is used only to operate the program and communicate with you. We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective when we post the updated Terms at this location. Your continued participation in the messaging program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
